What's the difference between our Deep Clean and a Classic Clean?

​Our Deep Clean exclusively includes Interior Window Cleaning, which most companies don’t. It also involves washing all the “I don't have time for that” areas —like ceiling fans and light fixtures, plug and switch covers, doors and door frames, trim, the exterior of all cabinets, and the dreaded baseboards. In addition to everything our Classic Clean covers. Such as, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, the kitchen, and bathrooms top to bottom.
What exactly is a Move-in Move-out clean?

This service requires a significant attention to detail. With the entire home empty, a lot more surface area is revealed. We dive deep into every nook and cranny, cleaning inside all the drawers and cabinets. And upon request, we're happy to tackle the inside of the oven and refrigerator/freezer to make sure everything is spotless for the next resident.
What is a Post-Construction clean?

A Post-Construction clean is a specialized deep clean that transforms a construction site into a move-in-ready space. It focuses on removing fine dust, stubborn debris, and adhesive residues that standard cleaning doesn’t cover. Depending on the project this can be a single or multi stage process. The multi-stage process usually includes a rough clean to clear out the large debris and dirt prior to the project's completion, and then a final clean once the project is finalized. Some cases will also need a touch up, prior to sale or showing.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment? Do I need to be home?

We bring all our own professional-grade cleaning supplies and equipment. You don't need to provide a thing! For your convenience, you also do not need to be home. Most of our clients prefer to let us know where to find a key, use a lockbox, or provide an access code. And come home to relax in their freshly cleaned space.
Do you have a minimum charge?

Yes, we have a minimum charge of $145 for up to 2.5 hours of cleaning. This ensures our team can provide a high-quality service even for smaller jobs. For most homes, this offers excellent value and a great starting point.
Who will be cleaning my home?

Your home will be cleaned by an experienced cleaning professional who has passed a thorough background check to ensure the quality and reliability you expect from Purpleduck.
How far in advance do I need to book a cleaning?

We recommend booking at least 3-5 days in advance to secure your preferred date. For larger projects like move-out or post-construction cleans, we suggest booking 1-2 weeks ahead. However, we may have the ability to accommodate last-minute bookings, so always feel free to call and ask!
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to avoid charging a cancellation fee. We understand emergencies happen and will always work to move your appointment without charge whenever possible.
Do you work with realtors or property managers?

Yes, we have priority scheduling for realtors and property managers in Columbia. We help you get properties market-ready with our reliable post-construction, move-out cleaning services, and even last minute touch-ups before a showing.
